I’m starting a blog to document my progress artistically. As it stands, I’m an amateur who likes to create oil paint portraits. I am working on a self-imposed challenge of ’52 Portraits in 52 Weeks’ and so far have created 10 8×10 inch oil on board portraits in 9 weeks plus 2 larger double portraits of my 2 nieces.

I also have an interest in zine making and lino prints. I am in the middle of making my first zine, drawing using the Affinity software package. I hope to get maybe 25 copies made that I’d like to swap out there with fellow artists.

I will also be returning to making lino prints soon (once the supplies arrive). I once had an art teacher (hi, Bruce!!!) who told me I had a talent for it, so we’ll see.
